It’s November and Parmesan and Pixielot now have very fat tummies from spending the summer out at grass, and their woollie coats have come back to keep them warm through the winter.

Pixielot puffs hers up like a snowball when it is cold.

Parmesan is now in “middle field” with his giant companion “Tiny” who is an 18 hand ex racehorse, who is staying at Tuell as the grass is good here! They seem to be getting on famously, like little and large, but are a little inquisitive of any visitors wanting to try the swing over the stream, as you cross the field!

We have had some beautiful Pumpkin Orange skies over the last week or two; perfect for Halloween half term. Six of our lambs moved on to form a new flock on Dartmoor, and we kept 2 girl lambs to go with our small flock. We currently have last year’s Dad ram staying with the older girls in the orchard, so that we will have more lambs in the spring, hopefully!
