It has been a strange year for weather, with quite a mild wet winter, and then such cold conditions in March! But there is always plenty to do here; a crunchy walk through the frosty fields, or a trip to the wild Atlantic beaches to watch the waves (from a warm cafe!?) And Devon is beautiful even in winter, with snow on the moors and cosy shops to visit in Tavistock, morning coffee at our nearby gem Hotel Endsleigh, cream tea (and shopping) at Lifton Farm shop, and a delicious relaxed supper at Taylors restaurant in Tavistock or a walk to the pub by the river with a warm fire, and local farmers at the bar. And our cosy cottages await your homecoming with a wood burning fire and underfloor heating! Whatever the time of year or weather, we have a warm welcome for you!
