We have had an early lamb, who was born in a thunderstorm, hence his name, whose Mum was not very interested in him. She seemed unwell before and after the birth and produced only a small amount of milk with very little interest in her lamb. We put her back in the field, so she would eat, and are bottle feeding her lamb 3-4 times a day. Storm is now about 3 weeks old and growing by the day. He does think he might be a dog though, as they seem to take more interest in him than the sheep, and he follows them about. I have a feeling Storm will become a very tame sheep!
